It's a sturdy little zip up. I got these for when my child grows a bit and it's due to be cooler outside. This is a great layering piece as it is not thin, but also not a super thick coat material. It's of good quality and is built well enough to last a kid or three without deteriorating horribly. I would purchase this again in other colors, especially at the sale price point! It's also not see through under direct lighting. 2 minor thoughts that contributed to 4/5 stars instead of 5/5: 1. Item arrived with an itty bitty snag on the top right (left when pictured) shoulder. 2. This black did not match the logo pants I bought. They aren't so terribly different shades that they cannot be paired together (the pictures look worse than reality) but I do think it could bother some customers. Again, I would purchase this in other dark colors. #sweepstakes
