I don't know what's wrong with Gap but I bought 3 shorts and all of them had huge leg openings. Like comically big. Not all of us have gigantic thighs. These would be so much cuter high rise and a little longer.

I randomly found these shorts which was a win because I had been on the hunt for a pair of "track" shorts that were not nylon/athletic material. I ordered the brown in a size medium which is my normal size. I'm 5'2" 150lbs for reference and typically wear a medium or 8/10. These are super soft and very lightweight. The waistband has a lot of give and I would say in that area these might run slightly big. The color is so nice, kind of a brown with purple-y undertones which I love. I think I'm going to order the red pair as well. They look so cute with a white tank and chambray shirt for summer.
