I bought this in every color/pattern that's 100% cotton (= 4 of the 5 options available/not the white version bc it's a cotton/rayon blend).
The 100% cotton fabric and this top's design = both ultra lightweight, which is exactly what I seek & what I need!
Nice, balanced neckline: politely modest yet quite open (= my cleavage isn't on gross display yet the whole circumference of my neck & a couple inches of my upper chest remain blissfully exposed to air circulation (wearing tops that have shirt collars cause me to overheat/excessively sweat).
This top is Not cropped! Hooray!!
Hem is just long enough for me, but ~2"—3" longer would be my ideal (a little camouflage for my imperfect tummy/hips/rear is Always Welcome!).
Successful WASHING TIPS: in COLD water, delicate cycle (or regular cycle if this top's in a zip-up, netted bag specifically meant for washing "delicate" items).
HANG to DRY: I lay these across 2–3 rods on a fold-out drying rack, or over the back of a patio chair, or over the horizontal bar of a hanger (like dry cleaners hang pants halfway over hangers).
When at least halfway to all the way dry, I hang these on hangers like any other shirt hangs. I avoid hanging them like this when they're heavier with moisture bc
I never put my 100% cotton items in the dryer (unless I want them to shrink, or unless I'm going for a "wrinkled look"!).
I almost never iron these (or any of my 100% cotton ON/Gap items), as any minor wrinkles seem to disappear within ~5 minutes of dressing.
Some "pro's" to not running the dryer for any of my clothing/PJs/bedsheets/towels: my utility bill stays below average, "doing my part" for the environment/conserving gas/electricity, treating myself well by wearing breathable comfortable Natural cotton, not supporting big oil unnecessarily thru buying items made of synthetic fabrics (ie, polyester/plastic/"vegan leather" = oil derivatives), extending life of my clothes by not feeding them to dryer for digestion into lint…
