Inconsistent sizing - but I'm committed to finding the fit!

Size up 1-2 sizes?!

I ordered a 4L in a light wash. I was so excited when I felt how soft they were. I wear a 4 in gap pants- I could barely get them above my hips and had 4 inches of belly space where I couldn't button them. Is it possible they were mismarked as a 0?! It was wild. Got these online. Ordered a 27 and 28. I'm 5'6 135 lbs. The 28's fit perfectly in hips and length. Love them! The studs on the side are just a little extra and I wish the white was available in my size.

I love the comfort and versatility of these jeans!

I love the length, size, color and fit. I do see mixed reviews on the jean's size - but for me they are perfect. I'm 5'2" slim and petite and the size 25 or 26 work perfectly. The length was good for me after I washed and dryed. I love the small waist, lots of jeans have big gaps and large waist size but this one doesn't it's true to size.

Inseam of long length felt closer to 33 than 34 inches, and I need at least 35. Cut around the waist and hips was very flattering for curvier hips

These jeans were lovely. I would have kept them but they were oddly short. I'm 5'6 with longish legs and these were above my ankle bone. I thought I may have been sent a "short" but they were regular length. Otherwise they were true to size - I got a 28/6 (137-140lbs)

These jeans are a lot thinner than I imagined, but for me that makes them more comfortable so I am more likely to wear them. Love the wash, I ordered the medium wash. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because I am 5'9" and they are so short on me. Usually regular jeans from Gap are a decent length, however I will have to exchange these for a tall.
