Size up! Size 6 fits more like a size 4, I was only able to button them due to the elastic on the back of the waist band. They are also 1-2 inches shorter than how they look on the model. The fabric is very thin and cheap. Barely worth the on sale price, definitely not worth full price. For reference I'm 5'6 and 140lbs

I'm a true size 8 and sometimes a 6. Ordered the 8 and it's a bit snug at the hips causing unfortunately placed pockets to stick out. It gaps at the waist so sizing up isn't an option.
