Great fit!

I do not agree that they fit small. I think they are tts and maybe even slightly baggy. I'm 5'2 and 130lb +-, short inseam, smaller waist, and carry my weight in my hips. I bought the blue and beige stripe in a 4P. They fit great in length for the summer with flat sandals. They are in no way too big...

Be warned with Gap Factory linen pants!

Every Spring I buy a few pairs of linen pants from Gap Factory (different styles and colors). Every time I wash I do so in cold/gentle and hang dry - not even one second in the dryer. Every pair MASSIVELY shrinks in length and waist. Is this a quality control issue? This doesn't happen with any oth...

Major quality control issues

First off, if you do order these pants, heed the advice of other reviewers and size up in the waist. I did and was grateful. I don't recommend ordering them though because of quality control concerns with the sizing. I ordered two pairs of these pants in different colours. Both pairs were size 8 petite. The first pair was plain khaki. They were clownishly short in the leg. When I used my measuring tape, they came out with a 26.5 inch inseam, which is not the 28 inch inseam they advertised and was juuust enough to look stupid. All I could think about was how other reviewers said they would shrink and then I had major visions of Steve Erkel. The second pair was the khaki colour with brown stripes. They fit in the waist and were the actual 28 inches they were supposed to be. Returning them because the stripes remind me of a circus tent and frankly, I can't unthink that. Wanted to love them. Just didn't. Both pairs will be going back. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I really liked that plain khaki pair. Someone suggested I try ordering regular length but with my luck, the regular length would be cut properly and be too long. I could return them and try my luck with ordering a second pair of the ones I had. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Frankly, it's not worth the risk or the hassle though. I'm giving up on these.

Manufacture wash instruction/ cause shrink

COMMON SENSE says if the manufacturer tells you to wash these pants A CERTAIN WAY ON THE LABEL then that's what you do. HOWEVER these pants massively SHRINK. COMMON SENSE also knows the manufacturer should TELL you if dry cleaning was necessary to the fabric.

I bought the blue and beige stripe in a 4P. They fit great in length for the summer with flat sandals. They are in no way too big on me, and I might even be able to do a 2P. I'm going to have one washed and see what happens before ordering the red in a 2P. Linen bags out and I don't want these looking sloppy, but right now they're perfect!

Love these pants in navy- they fit my shape beautifully and have an elegant drape. I am super picky about pants and almost never buy from discount factory stores. Was really surprised how good these are. Will definitely dry clean based on the reviews!

Sorry but just FYI Common sense would say that you're supposed to dry clean linen blend anything linen I would dry clean never put the in the washer, of course it's going to shrink! Sorry! not trying to be mean or anything but I'm old school and being raised we would never wash that type of material ijs.

First wash I was sure not to dry them & they were fine. Second wash, they somehow found their way into the dryer (on low heat) and shrank like crazy.

I wash newly bought clothes before use so I did with the pants - it shrank to the point that it's too tight for me to wear. I bought the same size in the denims and it is is fine. So disappointed
