I purchased a light wash 10/30r (I probably could have bought a size down being a loose style). I measured 10" not as low rise as mine from 2013 which were 10/30r and I still wear today! Real Straight was marketed then as slim, midrise and it is 9", a straight, not overly loose, not tight style for the times...so I wanted something similar. I'm 5'7, so regular length is good with sandals or flats, 140 lbs. Average build, 65+aged who always wore GAP1969 jeans & Long N Lean style low rise without stretch fabric, so I'm hoping these Low Rise '90s loose jean, will be a great addition to my wardrobe.

These fit soooo well. My hips are 38" and waist 27" and the size 4 fit me nicely. I coooould have sized down but this size fit me more loose like the style intends. So i would say its to true to size. they are the perfect blend between straight leg and wide leg. Beware, they were very long even for the short size. Im 5 ft tall and ended up hemming them 3 inches. Although these are low rise, they fit more like a mid rise, which i already know is the case for me bc of my height. Waiting for them to go on sale to buy the darkest wash. I got the medium wash and its the perfect color to dress up or down.
