I LOVE this 100% cotton poplin camisole meant to be a PJ top but I might wear it w a bra in public this summer lol! I bought the blue-on-blue pattern a couple weeks ago, & now I'm buying more of that pattern plus the lemon pattern too!! I hope they stock more patterns AND matching PJ SHORTS soon too!!! I have worn Cotton Flower Clothing's/CFC's (business has closed permanently) "single-gauge" 100% cotton gauze tank tops, long sleeved button down blouses, & "prairie pants" (lined w shorty-shorts only; most of the leg area was made of just 1 layer of Gloriously Fine, Light-as-tissue paper cotton) to survive the hot weather for the past 15 years, replacing & adding new frequently. (Their gauze was 1/4–1/2 as thick as ON/Gap's crinkle gauze!) To ON/Gap: PLEASE make tops/pants like those!! Please?! The business was doing very well but the new owners didn't want the extra work of running it! I can't find anything closer to CFC's items than ON/Gap's 100% cotton poplin (or lawn!) tops, & since the tops are cropped but these PJ tops are not cropped, I might just put a bra on underneath & wear these PJ tops (& the ruffle PJ tops) in public!! My Way to Wash: cold water/delicate cycle, zipped up in a mesh bag (keeps straps from wrapping around center post). HANG to dry, bc this could easily shrink in dryer even on low, plus these straps could get caught up & damaged. Try Air Dry!! Fabrics last longer, it's FREE/it saves $, it saves environment, doesn't heat up my place so it doesn't make A/C work harder, makes towels more absorbent, fabrics less likely to need ironing, etc. No drawbacks that I can think of! If you see me wearing this PJ top (or the ruffle PJ top) in public starting any day now, come up to me & say my top looks "COOL!" Lol! It'll be our undercover way to let each other know we both shop ON/Gap!!!

From Dan
I LIVE in 100% cotton poplin camisoles like these all summer, most of spring, & much of autumn too (I live where it's hot to very hot most/year, plus I'm hot-natured too, lol). The blue-on-blue is the first pattern I bought, & now I'm back for another of the same PLUS the lemon pattern too! If there are sleep shorts to match I'll buy those too! (I have already been wearing the ruffle PJ tanks & shorts for the past several weeks, and I love them all too!!). My Washing Directions: use cold water, delicate cycle, in Mesh bag. HANG TO DRY (cotton shrinks in higher heat; I don't know why it says "tumble dry low" bc that's pretty hot, maybe to appeal to people addicted to using their dryers? Anyway, I just drape these over 2 bars on my "accordion" drying rack, & they're dry in 12—24h max. Plus I save money & I save the environment by not running the dryer/by air-drying most of my family's clothes, towels, bed sheets, etc!! Try it & see for yourself how it makes fabrics crisp, more absorbent, less wrinkled, etc! In fact, if you see me out & about wearing a Gap Factory PJ tank top or PJ ruffle top (w/ a bra underneath!) and my lightweight cotton pants (to protect my legs from the intense sun where I live), PLEASE just say my top looks nice/looks cool; don't embarrass me by saying my "PJ's" look good if I'm out in public, please?!? I can be quite self-conscious! Since there are few tops as lightweight as these in the women's blouses & tops sections, I'm left w/ wearing PJ tops in public, for now. Btw, I used to wear (all the time) Cotton Flower Clothing's/CFC's single-gauge cotton gauze (1/4–1/2 the thickness of ON/Gap crinkle gauze) tank w/ raw edges around neckline, (& in the depth of winter here, CFC's single-gauge cotton gauze long-sleeved blouse), but they closed the business down forever 09/25, w/ none in stock. I'd LOVE to find items like those & their "prairie pants" again! If you know those light-as-a-tissue paper clothes, you'll get why I love these!!
