I bought this dress somewhat spontaneously, and I absolutely love it. The material isn't too thick or thin, it is lightweight, and comfortable. The dress is also so flattering and fits in all the right places. I bought the navy gingham and it will be perfect to wear year round. My average size is a small, but occasionally I get xsmall. Decided xs in this dress would be best and it was. Measurements below for ref. I am 5'5 and the dress sits just above or right at ankle length. Of course, the pockets are always a nice addition! I love this dress (although I would size down). However, after wearing it for a full day, I had chaffing on the underside of both arms due to rubbing on the smocking. I have several other dresses in this style from other brands and that has never happened.

I love this dress but I'm also 5'7 & this dress hits me almost just above the ankle so it's definitely not a petite friendly dress. The material is OK. Appreciate that it's 100% cotton. Could be a little softer but it doesn't bother me too much. I'm also around 200 pounds & a 42C so I got a size XL & it fits almost perfectly. The smocking on the chest really helps make the dress fit well. I didn't notice any gapping around the arms or neck. The boatneck makes wearing traditional or racerback bras a little tricky w/strap exposure but if you don't mind some strap showing it's fine. Overall a decent dress for the price. I got the blue & I can definitely see myself wearing it all summer.

Like others, I sized from a medium to a small. I am about 145 pounds and 5'8" long and lean. Took one star as it's a bit thin, but will be perfect for a humid summer.

This dress is so comfortable and flattering! It is so well made and the waist is elastic.

I'm 5'6 and about 155-160 lbs. 9 months pp and 34DDD. I got this dress in a size medium. While it fits just fine it's fits very large! There's a lot of extra room in the waist and it gapes a lot at the neckline in the back and front if you straighten up. I'm going to try to exchange for a size small.

I purchased the red and navy floral in a small, my usual size. I'm 5'3" and like another reviewer stated, it's long, floor length on me. Definitely need petite sizing in this as the smocked part ran long too and gathered at the bottom. I do love that it's 100% cotton and thin material as it will be perfect for hot southern summers! I probably keep and just have them shortened a few inches.

We all have different body shapes, so things will fit differently on each of us. Having said that I am 5'9 and this is quite long on me. But I like the length for me with a wedge heel, its perfect. As far as the fabric its 100% cotton and lovely. It is not itchy to me at all. If it were I wouldnt hesitate to send back. I purchased the red solid and the blue flower print. I have worn both. I love the pockets, it flows and feels feminine and I feel pretty in them. I love again that they are cotton. Great for warmer weather. And I wore a short sleeve cardigan with them. For reference I am a size 18 and I bought an XXL. It came down to just an inch or 2 above my ankle I think. Hope that helps.

Dress runs super big, I'm always a medium and probably could do an XS. Fabric is thin, I expected it to be lined. Will be returning.

I just received this dress in the mail and tried it on and it's beautiful! Very comfortable and flattering! This will definitely be a staple in the summer months!
