The fit is fantastic-it hugs in all the right places while allowing for lightweight comfort and movement. I was also really impressed with the craftsmanship; the dress is beautifully constructed with attention to detail that stands out. I'm 5'4" , 150lbs and a petite older gal. I ordered the Tall/Large since this is 100%cotton. The Tall gives just the right amount extra length bringing the dress just below my knees, so I can be modest, yet cool for the summer. The red, white and blue theme is not cheesy at all, but very tasteful and adds a fun patriotic vibe for the summer. I also ordered a red tank to wear under the dress since it is crocheted and requires some extra coverage when wearing out.
