Best no show socks

I wear a lot of booties and flats. Booties tend to allow for higher up or normal socks, and flats often don't need socks. But some low cut booties and more loafer style shoes require socks in my mind. I've tried so many no show socks and they often actually do show or they are so low they don't stay...
