GAP shopper for decades here. Maybe older, but I appreciate a great-fitting pair of men's flex khakis that do not feel like a woman's girdle or clingy ski stretch pants. The Straight Fit Essential Khakis are true to size and the soft black and classic navy colors are truly modern classic essential...s for guys. I am 6'2" tall and weigh 185 pounds and the 32" waist x 34" length size pants fit perfectly. I caved and purchased a pair in the classic khaki (love the color) in a 32" length (34" was still not in-stock) and after a wash and dry, they are a tad short and will likely get shorter with future washings. Will re-order in 32/34 in "classic khaki" when they miraculously become available. Would like to see and own these offered in the light gray color option too! I purchased these pants to replace the same cut and fit GAP Stretch khaki pants that I have been wearing to work for the past 5 YEARS. I wear them at least once every single week - to the point where my keys were falling out of the holes worn in my front pockets. Great essential product and value; well-made with longevity and accurate/comfy fit. I highly recommend them to my friends as work or casual wardrobe staples!
The front pockets are very shallow, about 1/3 shallower than the previous version of Gap khakis. My keys, ear bud case, loose changes, etc... keep falling out when I sit down and lean back. It would be nice to have another 1.5-2" depth of the front pockets. I had to return them.
