I bought the black and leopard color way both in M regular length. I'm very happy with both and receive nice compliments, especially on the leopard print. Neither have a slip, and both are very thin and allow light to pass through if you hold them up to a light. I like this though because I live in... a very hot and sometimes humid climate, so I need breathable thin materials. I also always where yoga shorts under my skirts. The material isn't soft, but isn't scratchy and stiff to me. It feels like a typical linen blend. It doesn't bother me in general and because of the yoga shorts, but it might if someone is more particular on fabric feel and didn't wear anything under it. Width is 15" at the top and 20.5" at the bottom and flares slightly out from top to bottom. There's elastic on the back portion of the waistband, and I'd say the rise is high. I like that the side slit isn't too high, also - comes up to a little above my knee. Length is about 34" in the front and 36"/3' in the back. The front hem is mostly straight with a very slight concave curve while the back has more pronounced convex outward curve.
I had previously purchased a pair of linen blend shorts and matching apron top in the blue stripe color/print and absolutely love the outfit. So, I was super excited to add a bunch of additional linen blend pieces to my collection when they went on sale! Unfortunately, these pieces, all in black, ar...e extremely poor quality. The are completely unlined, multiple edges are unhemmed, some edges simply rolled over, and the material is very sub par compared to my previous purchase. The material is thin, even the black is see through, scratchy and obviously lesser quality to the touch compared to the other pieces purchased. This is not the quality that I know, love and expect from Gap. Sadly, the entire order is going back. As far as fit goes, I would say that they run fairly true to size, or even a tiny bit small. I am normally a size 6 in Gap and a small or medium. I ordered both sizes and the mediums were the ones that fit properly. I am 5'6, 135lbs, hourglass figure, 34C on top. Definitely do not recommend.

I am planning to wear my shirt and skirt this Fall with black opaque stockings and maybe anklet boots. I think it will look nice. The skirt is a little long, but I do not think it will be a problem.

Easy to dress up or down and very comfortable thanks to the elastic in the back. I walk everywhere and it's very easy to walk in (not constricting). It's a great travel piece.
