Inspired by our archival Long and Lean fit, we brought back this favorite but modernized it. Low rise. Clean bootcut leg. And all in comfort stretch denim.

I am 5'8", 130 lbs, slim build, normally a 6/28 pant. I ordered the 28 reg.and I'm happy with the over all fit. For my size frame the waist, length and tightness through out are just right! I grew up in the "low-rise jean era ", so I'm happy they are making a come back. The zipper length is 4"; good... fit with a wide belt. The hem on the bottom is a nice touch with top stretch higher. I've worn them twice without washing in between and they have held there shape. The denim is a nice medium weight and would be comfortable year round. I purchased the stone wash and the color wash is even throughout, so they look more upscale. In fact I was surprised to find them on GAP Factory; I see they are on SALE as I write my review and will order the dark wash. I am hopeful the different colors will in fact have the same fit!

Ordered 1 medium wash pair in size 29 (sized up from normal 28 since these run small) and love them, they have a sturdier, old school denim feel with just a little stretch, I can easily button them and have a little room in the waist, overall they're form fitting but not tight, the...y're a very comfortable jean. Regular length was not dragging on the ground, I can wear with sneakers or a heel. I ordered an identical back up pair and a 3rd pair in a dark wash (which is not that much darker then the medium). The back up pair runs a full size too small, very tight, I could barely button them. The dark wash fits more like the first pair but a tiny bit more snug. I would rate them 5 stars if the sizing wasn't so bad, especially when you order 2 identical pairs and they're a full size different.

Soo happy to see these jeans are back. These were my favorite jeans in early 2000's. This is great for petite women. It hits in my waist where I wanted it to be to give me an illusion of longer torso and the flare shape makes you look taller. Please keep these around. Please make a solid nice black jeans not faded as faded black does not look good on women in their 60's like me.

These have a 9" rise. Not low rise at all. Try again Gap. Tall is not a tall. Grazed my ankle.

I normally wear a size 26 in Gap jeans. I have an old pair of long & leans that are a size 26. I ordered a 27 because I wanted a slightly looser fit. I could barely button them at the waist and the thighs were skin tight.
