I ordered these pants on sale. I am 5'1" & 123 lbs; the Petite Medium fit perfectly & is not tight in the waist at all. Looser fit, but not in a way that makes you look larger -- the fabric is not heavy or bulky. It drapes nicely. Can dress it up on down with ease. I know they will be a work staple ...for me.! I got the Olive Night color, which is on par with the color in images, and love these pants, so I wanted to get a pair in Black. What confuses me and frustrates me is that when I clicked on the same pair of MR Easy Cargo Pants in Black, the item description changes from Mid Rise Easy Cargo Pants to just "Easy Pant," and this pair is not the same design as the Olive Night pair. This makes NO SENSE. The Black pair (in this Easy Pant) does not have the leg pockets down on the thigh area like the MR Easy Cargo Pant. If they are not the same cut -- and they definitely are not--then why are the on the same item listing? I click from Olive Night to Blue - and they are the same pants. Not so when I click on the Black color. I wanted a pair of Black Mid Rise Easy Cargo in Medium Petite, but there is no such offering, even though they make it look like there is. Initially, I ordered a Petite Small in the Easy Pant along with the Medium Petite MR Easy Cargo Pant and tried them on side by side-- they are sort of close, but different in a few ways, including the fabric, the lack of pockets, and the fit and cut. I am still ordering the Easy Pant in the Medium Petite to see if they work better than the Petite Smalls. This sale season, I've also purchased the olive linen blend parachute pants from GAP on sale & love them -- I love, love, love the Olive Night MR Easy Cargos, too....just wish there wasn't this misleading snafu on getting the latter in Black.
