I'm impressed by the quality of this jacket. I'm 5"3 149lbs and the Medium fits how a leather jacket should. It zips up all the way leaving about a half inch of space [overall] which allows for a thick sweater underneath. True to size. Attached is a picture of my genuine leather jacket from AllSaint...s purchased in 2015 for $600 (left) and the gap pleather (right). As long as you take care of your pleather, it will last you a while. Just as pictured on the website. A must buy!
I bought this exact jacket a year or two ago in a large. Loved it. Bought a medium for my stepdaughter this year and she is smaller and more petite than me. The medium was shockingly tight on her in the shoulders and uncomfortable. So I exchanged it for a large and it still was unbearably uncomforta...ble and tight in the shoulders on both of us and so much smaller than my original large jacket. Like I know everyone is taking ozempic now and stores have shown less, if any at all, plus size models and have made clothes smaller but come on Gap. No adult female has shoulders that narrow. So annoying. Now stuck with this stupid jacket and gave her mine. I feel if I get an XL it will be huge and floppy. I am a petite and curvy 5'4 165 lbs for reference and wear size Medium tops with a 38DD chest. Material was soft so I'll give them that but that's the only good thing but doesn't matter if we can't wear it!!! You'd have to be like a really really skinny narrow small boned person for this jacket.

Super cute and soft. Love this jacket, but I'm glad I paid attention to the other reviews saying it runs small in the shoulders. I'm a size 4 but sized up to medium and the shoulder area fits perfectly. I still couldn't wear a bulky sweater underneath but I love the jacket especially at the sale price.
