I am 5'8", 130 lbs, slim build, normally a 6/28 pant. I ordered the 28 reg.and I'm happy with the over all fit. For my size frame the waist, length and tightness through out are just right! I grew up in the "low-rise jean era ", so I'm happy they are making a come back. The zipper length is 4"; good... fit with a wide belt. The hem on the bottom is a nice touch with top stretch higher. I've worn them twice without washing in between and they have held there shape. The denim is a nice medium weight and would be comfortable year round. I purchased the stone wash and the color wash is even throughout, so they look more upscale. In fact I was surprised to find them on GAP Factory; I see they are on SALE as I write my review and will order the dark wash. I am hopeful the different colors will in fact have the same fit!
These should be called short and lean, not long and lean. Im 5'11 and the long length is shorter than an ankle cut. I have a pair of these jeans that are 15 years old. They are a full 1.5 inch longer than the ones I just purchased. Please make clothes for tall women.

I am a bit short-waisted. High waist styles go above my natural waist and look ridiculous on my body type (rectangular, not curvy) These "low rise" jeans are mid-rise on me, comfortably resting 2" below my belly button. These aren't 2000s "low rise" - they're definitely mid-rise. The legs are kindof a small bootcut. My backside looks great in these. Most flattering jeans I've had in a long time. Love the wide hem. Length is great. Size 27R.

I am 5'3" and 120 pounds and bought a 27 short, and they fit great length and waist-wise. They seem to be good quality, and I like a more stiff denim just because they tend to last longer. Overall, a nice staple jean. I will most likely buy gap jeans again.

I need a long inseam (33" at MINIMUM) but to get that with gap jeans i must get a size 27 when Im a size 24…. Its like either the pants fit but are WAY to short or the pants are WAY to big boy long enough…. Very disappointing
