I am tall, and it mostly comes from my legs, so I was super hopeful with these, as their mid rise would look close to high rise on me, but not the Hollywood high rise popular when my 19 year old was a toddler, which is what all high rise looks like on me. Especially because I'd like to tuck some shi...rts in and no look so silly short waisted. It is all about creating or balancing odd proportions if you weren't blessed with balance right? ANY time I get pants in the tall line in mid or high rise they are too high and uncomfortable when I sit. I much prefer longs, but it seems gone are the days I could get the right length in the regular rise. 45.5" to 35" inseam would be perfect to wear with flats or cute sneakers. As these are they look like they are just a tad too short, which is ALWAYS bad on a leg which is wider at the opening than at the knee. I, a tall woman, wish the favorite styles were regularly offered to women like me. I guess I'll keep looking rather basic.
I can't stand to wear these jeans for more than an hour or two because the smell that comes off of the denim is absolutely unbearable. I can't breathe or concentrate on anything else it's so bad. I think it's formaldehyde or something STRONG that the fabric was treated with. I searched online for wh...at to do about this and followed several tips: soaking in baking soda for 12 hours, washing with white vinegar... well I've done both and then washed again with regular detergent and more vinegar again and again and THE TOXIC SMELL WILL NOT COME OUT. I am devastated, as these are the most flattering jeans I've found for my body in YEARS. I want to wear them every day and I am so sad that I can't. How is anyone else able to keep them on? What is going on with these jeans?

These jeans are true to size, I think. I'm older so these remind me of jeans from 90s (which I guys are coming back now, happy for that) I think high rise makes butts look REALLY big and super long. Jeans are stretchy, feel so comfy but not stretch out. I'm 5'4" and short fit great- 29 waist fit my kind of flabby belly(sucks it in:) I weigh 145
