The waist does run tight but it has some stretch. Made me worried I'd gained weight until I saw so many comments saying the same. Unless your proportions are textbook it'll likely be a little tight in the waist.

When these fit, I love them! However, I've found the sizing to be very inconsistent. I ordered a 29 tall and a 30 tall and they are very different sizes (MUCH shorter and tighter in the 29 - they don't seem tall at all and much tighter than the 29 talls I have in these pants in other colors). They pockets are different colors in different sizes too - nude in the 29, white in the 30.

I have these in another color, same size. These are an inch shorter.

Love the quality and the look of these jeans, and would have loved to keep them - if I was able to even button them! The jeans fit lovely except they're very narrow at the waist. Not sure if the other washes/colors would have been different, but this was the dark wash specifically.
