Love - run large

The pleats on these harken back to the 80s. Love the classic style and they fit well. Gap's sizing chart is not accurate here, or for anything I've bought from them. I'm 5'6", 150lbs. According to the size chart I'm a 12 or a Large. Bought the Small, but Medium would have worked too. I have a tiny p...

Beautiful Orange Color but Run Huge

These run super large. I bought a Large at a size 12 with weight in my hips/thighs/but, and loved the way they draped and the orange rust color. But they seemed a bit big, so I washed and dried to see how much they might shrink (not much). I wore them to work for the first time this week and by the ...

I'm incredibly upset at how itchy with pants are. I should have known, because it's a linen blend. These pants are so cute, stylish, and sleek, and they look amazing on my 5'10" 230lb body. However they make my skin crawl, and the welt back pockets should be illegal in women's fashion, WHY ARE THEY FAKE?! Give me real back pockets, and fabric that doesn't make me want to scream. Thank you.

Great, but had to size up

If you're thick in the waist at all, I'd size up. I purchased my usual size large and had a nice muffin top lol. For reference I'm 5'4" with a medium thick, hour glass frame. But not a "Large" or XL person. I think brands are really struggling overall in their larger sizing with the advent of woven pants without stretch. Yes, these have elastic at the back, but it's not much and provides comfort compared to none when sitting down. But doesn't do much in the way for allowing for sizing democracy. And the only stretch is the elastic, so yeah. If you're thicker, I'd size up. I do really like the shape and look of the fabric, so I re-purchased in an XL (yikes!) and am hoping it's not too big everywhere else. When I held the Large up, it definitely looked more like a Medium to me.

I have a tiny postpartum belly which makes pants tighter in the waist. The small is slightly tight in the waist but fitted in the hips. I don't think it would be tight if you have a slim waist. For me, I like a fitted look in the hips and the small is perfect, other than I'd pair with a belt to reduce pulling on the button. A size medium would be a more casual fit and probably the size I'd recommend for most people.

Wish they came in numeric sizes

These are so close to being great, but they are too big in the waist, which makes them ride too low and fit poorly in the crotch. I wish they would have come in numeric sizes -- S, M, L does not cut it for pants! I am usually an 8 or 10 in pants, with hips bigger than waist. I can't imagine going down to a small.

Comfortable to dress up or down - and they don't wrinkle!

These pants fit very well - slightly large so I'd suggest sizing down. Perfect length for petites. I'm 4'11" and I could wear them with flat Birks and a casual T or dress them up with heels and a nicer top. Very versatile. Great for traveling too - they don't wrinkle. I washed them before wearing - came out of the dryer perfect and 24 hours in my suitcase, they were still wrinkle free. The fabric breathes and was perfect during this hot summer. I was nervous about "Linen Blend" - I've always prefered natural fabrics, especially now that I have fibromyalgia - but these are nice and soft against your skin.

Great fit and feel.
