I got these on a whim in white. I'm 5'9 and 128 lbs for reference, with long legs. I am usually a size 2-4 and the 26 fit perfect with some room to spare, but in a comfortable way. I've worn these with a gap tank to a pool party and also dressed them up for a casual Saturday dinner out. Super versat...ile and wore great when moving around a lot with the kiddos! Highly recommend! Will be buying more.
I got the grayish beige and the color and the white tie are beautiful, but oh my gosh I could barely put them on they were so much smaller than usual. To be honest I find Gap super generous with their sizing, like if they are offering medium and large of something I usually go with the medium even t...hough I weigh 190, but this pair of shorts I bought by my waist size and they were tight tight tight all over. Will probably try the next size up because I love the color so much

Cute, comfy, love that the beige color is a little unusual. The cream colored drawstring is a nice detail. Great length. Very soft and comfortable but feels like denim. A great twist on a basic denim shirt. I think they run a little on the big side.

The "neutral" color which looks a little purplish in the photos is straight brown in real life. Like a poopy ugly brown. I loved the way the fit and felt but the color was pretty ugly in person. I am usually a size 0-2 and purchased a 26 which fit perfectly.

I'm surprised with the negative reviews. These shorts are super cute and comfortable. The jean material is nice-not too thick and the length is good. They are high waisted which i dont mind. Im 5'4, weigh around 155-160, typically wear a medium or 8/10 and purchased size 30.

I have worn a size 12 from the Gap for years. Jeans, shorts, etc. Ordered these in a 31/12 and they weren't even close to buttoning. Exchanged for a 32/14 and again, they won't button. I am 5'10" and 190 lbs for reference.
