The tan ( yellowish tan) stripe r.r./ hammerholder pants are great. Soft, wear all day comfy and all year !! Getting the denim stripe pair...wish they came in plain white. Also, wash a couple times on cool water then air dry. They get sooo soft yet hold their style. I love them!

They're short and I wear a regular inseam in Gap pants so the details and fit is off. They also fit high waisted not slung low. The rise is long (I appreciate the button fly) but they're not low hanging or loose in the waist. It actually cinches in the waist. Sizing is off - I bought another pair of jeans this week same size and those fit perfectly - these I can't even button up. Also the wash of the jeans looks cheap.

So now GAP is making jeans that don't fit? Wonderful. The fabric is nice but the crotch is very large. If you want to look like you can fit a bunch of bananas in the crotch of your pants, go for. it. Me, I'll continue my search for cute hickory stripe jeans.

They're really wide legged, not a straight legged. Ordered short, came too long still. Also they fit like high wasted pants that are just sagging down. I'll have to send them back.
