I love this style but found that it runs large. I originally ordered these in the lighter distressed color in a size 25, and they were a tad too big all around. I returned those and ended up ordering a size 24 instead, and they fit great! I usually wear size 25/26, depending on the rise/style, and I... rarely fit a size 24. Haven't washed these yet and am hopeful they don't shrink in length at all. Material is soft and slightly stretchy but not much. These do have a button-fly, which I overlooked in the description but not a game-changer. Buttons are a little tough to undo at first but I assume will get easier with each wear. Overall pleased with this at first try-on. Love the '90s look/feel of this style!
I wanted to like these but they had to go back. They were way too big on me. I got the "short" length and the cuff of pants went past my feet. Usually short items from the gap work quite well for me. Not these sadly. Just an fyi they are button fly, which I don't mind but some don't like...so it's g...ood to note. I don't recall it saying this in the description. I got the striped and the medium blue ones and the colors and finishes are very nice and soft for jeans. The bottoms are way too wide for my shape and height! They aren't really "straight" like my other gap straight jeans. They're more like xtra wide leg in my opinion. So that was also disappointing to me.

So now GAP is making jeans that don't fit? Wonderful. The fabric is nice but the crotch is very large. If you want to look like you can fit a bunch of bananas in the crotch of your pants, go for. it. Me, I'll continue my search for cute hickory stripe jeans.

They're really wide legged, not a straight legged. Ordered short, came too long still. Also they fit like high wasted pants that are just sagging down. I'll have to send them back.

the fit was fine - the waist fit well as compared to the dark wash, but the color of the faded wash was cheap looking and not attractive. I wore them once but could not see myself wearing them again. They do not look like the photo.
