Keep in mind these jeans are really short. They fit like capris. Because it's high rise the jeans fit short. If you have a smaller/petite kid order your normal size or size up for a longer fit. I'm so happy with these! I will say they run a little shorter than I would expect. I think for length we could've sized up to an 8 plus and I will probably do that to get longer wear out of these. So happy to have found a store that offers these extended sizes for this age. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My daughter loves them. They are so stretchy and soft. Great style.
The pants are nice and material is very soft. Unfortunately, what I didn't notice until after I had removed the tags, is that the back pockets placement if very off. Maybe not a big deal for a kid, but I had bought these for myself as a very petite adult woman.

This is my second time purchasing these jeans, and the first time I'm trying the lighter wash. I have and love the dark wash version, as they're truly comfortable, roomy and a great fit for me. I'm 5'1", with a 26" waist and 33" hips, and can often wear a kids' size 14. Here are some garment measurements for a better idea of how these fit: waist width/diameter14", width at hips 18", rise 11", inseam 24 1/2", total length of fjeans from waist to hem 34", width of leg at hem 9 1/2". The waist has an adjustable elastic band, and the fabric is just about the softest I've found in a pair of jeans. They're a perfect length for me at 5'1", coming to the top of my sneakers, but if you're taller, they're likely to be more like ankle jeans. #sweepstakes
