These are the best straight leg/wide leg sweatpants I've ever owned and that means a lot from someone who is on the petite side and usually ends up looking frumpy and not flattered in a wider pant. I would usually go for a small petite, but I ended up getting these in store first in XS regular becau...se they don't have petite options in the store and they fit me perfect even lengthwise in the regular. I just ordered my second pair in a different color and I am going to slowly transition some of my other sweats into this one. I will say the regular length is a little big, but they do not drag, like barely safe from touching the ground and I'm 5'1.
I was so excited to see that the black had a petite left. I am only 5 feet tall so obviously need a shorter length. I had originally bought the matching joggers, which, although are quite short, they are perfect for how I wanted them being only 5 feet tall. I was hopeful these would be the same. I o...rdered the medium petite and they were at least a full foot too long. They had to be mislabeled. I've see other reviews saying the opposite, long/tall pants being too short so unsure what happened there but something to be aware of. Overall, the pant was very good quality, just wish it would've been petite like I ordered.

I have other sweatpants by GAP which I love and these are no different. They are soft & comfortable, they wash & dry well, they don't shrink. I own the wide leg sweats, which I love even on my small frame, and these straight leg are a great addition. I purchased the XS bc they tend to be a little blousy in the stomach & butt area and for being 5'3" tall, the length is perfect for me. They hit the top of my foot, so nothing is dragging on the floor.

5 ft 5 in 170 lbs and the large. Regular fit perfectly. I have washed them in cold water and air dry until almost completely dry and then threw them in the dryer just to finish drying the waist band and they were fine. No pilling or shedding from fabric noted. They are so very soft and comfy so I've ordered 4 more pairs! I absolutely love them.
