These shorts are cut TTS, but run small based on GAP sizing. I am a faithful GAP shopper, I work in a casual office where neatness is the only requirement, the majority of my wardrobe is from GAP, GAP Factory, and sometimes Old Navy, and I find their sizing to be generous. I'm almost always a size ...4, sometimes a 6, in these shorts I am a solid 6. Keep in mind the khaki color runs slightly smaller than the green, they're a bit more snug, but they do stretch some after wear. I just purchased the "blue uniform" so I can't speak on the sizing yet, although I am hoping they fit more like the green color. Either way they're great shorts, especially the length.
Loved the fit, color, and length of these shorts BUT it is all ruined by the white lining in the pockets showing!!! Even if they are not tight. I commented on these last year when I purchased them and APPARENTLY by the comments I see this year they still have not changed this major flaw. I was consi...dering buying them again if they had repaired them but cannot until this is changed! You have a great product possibility here GAP - but not until you fix this issue.

I like these shorts a lot. Classic, match everything. Unfortunately, they were out of the indigo in my size. That was the color I really wanted! But I got the black and khaki and I'm looking forward to wearing them the rest of the summer.

for some reason the pockets are a white cream color, not matching the color of the shorts. they also show no matter what angle/size/how you situate the shorts on your waist or hips. super disappointing bc i love the length and material

Do not buy this unless you plan to sew the pockets shut. Instead of lining the pockets with the chambray material, they lined them with white fabric! It really looks terrible. The white fabric shows a lot. Very poor decision to construct them this way. Have to return them.
