My ex-wife's father's cousin's son in law's lawncare company owner's middle son (or maybe it was his firstborn I'm not positive) loved them so much that he began paying his employees in these t-shirts. It wasn't long until the workers refused any other form of payment and the shirts can no longer b...e found on the shelves of the local department stores. The Federal Reserve was ultimately forced to recognize their legitimacy as currency and the shirts can now be found listed on the Forex right up there with the Dollar, Euro, and Pound.
I have bought from The Gap for many years. Always felt the price was worth it because of the quality but no more. These t-shirts are made of light weight fabric, like see through light weight. After the very first wash the seams are 4"-6" twisted and won't lie flat to fold. They wrinkle horribly.... After 20 years of buying solely from The Gap I guess it is time to look elsewhere.
