I have the hardest time finding jeans, so when I say I LOVE these, but have to pass on them, it's devastating! I loved everything about the fit. The legs were slim but not skinny, they were flattering on the butt and comfortable in the waist. There is just enough stretch. But my problem is that a hi...gh waisted jean should really have the smoothing pockets in the front. Otherwise it creates a little pooch under the waistband. my favorite gap jeans have that pocket and it's a game changer! If these had that they would be absolutely perfect. If you were in your 20s or really skinny it's not going to be an issue. But for women mid 30s and up or with a little bit of a belly, it might not flatter. I'm 5'11" and size 10 for reference
I ordered the dark wash. I'm normally a 12, but sometimes if there isn't stretch I size up so I got 31/12 and 32/14 to try. I barely got into the 32/14 and there's no way they'd be comfortable. The wash also didn't look like the photo, it was lighter. Maybe they'd be cute if I wanted to size up at ...least one, maybe 2 more sizes.
