This seems to be a polarizing style but I simply can't get enough of these. I think it's one of those things where if they work for you, they *really* work. I'm a pear shape, 5'7" and about 175 currently. I generally wear a size large or a 12-14 and the large in these is quite comfortable. Perhaps I... could have sized down, but I want a lounge-ey fit with these. Somehow these pants magically and counterintuitively make my waist look nipped and minimize my thighs. I don't know how they do it. I find the fabric soft, substantial and wrinkle-resistant. I have the tea rose which is sort of a peach pink, the sage, the tan, and the dark denim. I've tried them with all kinds of tops and shoes and they are ridiculously versatile--loafers and a button down work as do a tee and low profile sneakers, a tank and flip flops, a duster sweater and moto boots, etc. I suggest you try them if you're on the fence especially if you're a pear shape. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Overall feel the fabric is nice and as expected. Yes these run quite large so if you're a comfortable medium size 8 to 10 I would size down to a small. Wish I would have done that but I didn't want them to be snug or tight anywhere. The long length is not very long and comes above my ankles and I am... 5'7. So if you are a truly tall woman with long legs these are going to be short on you. I like the way the soft green garment looked on the smaller model so I thought the legs would taper some toward the bottom but they do not. They are straight cut and full legged. I wear a comfortable size 10 and are quite large on me to where I think a small would have been more appropriate for me. But again, I did not want big legs in the calf and Ankle area because I tend to get chilled easily.

These are cute jeans and a nice style option. The medium blue denim is quite heavy, but quite comfy and soft. I wish there were a bit more polyester and stretch in them as the knees bag after a fairly short period of wearing.

Just 2 months ago I bought 2 pairs of these pants in 2 colors and adore them. At 5'1" and now pregnant, these have been a perfect pant for me. I had a little stain on them, and using a stain remover that I have used for years on many different types of clothes, I was pretty sad to see they looked bleached where the stain remover was after the wash. Given that I'm now seeing other reviews with the same issue, this feels like an error on Gap's end, and at the very least, something that should be mentioned on the care tag.

Are these the most flattering pants on my 5'4" frame? Not at all. Are they even more barrel leg in person than pictured? 100%. Do I care? No!! These will make the cutest laid back outfit. Throw on a t-shirt and sandals and you set. I honestly have not purchased from GAP in quite awhile but these popped up on my feed and since I am a sucker for anything animal print I took the chance. I am usually an XS/S and went with the XS short after reading the reviews. They are perfect!

Similar to other reviewers, using a non-bleach stain remover on the Frosty Morning color of the pants ruined the pants and caused discoloration anywhere that stain remover was applied. Otherwise, the pants are very comfortable and the fit is great.

I originally bought these in light wash and loved them so much I had to buy the Frosty Morning color as well. So flattering and comfortable, easy to dress up and down. Simply the best and worth every penny. I have convinced multiple people to buy them and they all love them too.

The legs on these are really full and baggy. I usually wear a 6P, and the small was big and baggy. The leg width is huge! I wouldn't want to go smaller, afraid that the waist would be tight. On me, just about everything about these jeans was not flattering. For reference, I'm 5' 0" tall, weigh 122 and am kind of straight up and down. Will return.

Overall I like these pants, but they are a little short on me. I need an XS Long, but Long isn't an option for XS, and a S Long would be too baggy for my taste. I'm 5'8, about 135 lbs and I'm in the XS Reg. I like them enough to keep them even though they're a bit short. (Pictures are a work outfit)

I purchased the frosty morning color and I am obsessed with the fit at currently 12 weeks pregnant. However after wearing them to church my daughter got some food on them so I washed them in the washer after spraying some "Spray and Wash" stain remover on them which completely ruined them. So sad!!!!!!
