These are perfection. Exactly as pictured. I'm 5'4" and they come up just above my belly button. The length is perfect. They hit at the bottom of my ankle. I ordered my usual size L and the fit is perfect for me. I have a bit of a tummy and I love that the fabric is thick enough to hold me in a litt...le, but light enough to still be comfortable. The elastic at the back has great stretch. I'm an expert on elastic waistbands (lol) and so many have elastic that's too stiff and kind of defeats the purpose of added comfort. This elastic has great stretch.
I tried out these pants because they are cotton. They fit a bit loose but not to where it looks awkward (and I hope they will shrink for a better fit). The shape is great, not too baggy or oversized. The only odd thing is how absurdly long the crotch is - I mean even for a high waist pant its just r...idiculously long. I will keep these because they are cotton and because I can turn down the waist for a more comfortable fit that doesnt come up to my chest. I am 5'0", ordered the XS petite and it is ankle length on me which is nice. Would recommend if you dont mind dealing with the weird crotch and also would only recommend buying this on a deep discount like I did.

I wish I had read the reviews first. Yes, they are big so size down. I normally am Petite M (5"4, 135lbs, size 6-8) and when I tried them on, the pants were definitely loose at the waist but looked fine otherwise. Great ankle length. I tried the M Regular and was swimming in them at 5"4". I thought the Petite M would fit fine after a wash since that usually happens. They didn't shrink much after a hot wash and dry. They are falling off when I walk. I have ordered a Petite S instead and will give the M to my sister who is a little bigger. The pants are very cute and comfy though, but yes, size down.

I did size down and they fit me perfectly, I have ordered them in three colors now. I'm 5'4" and thicker through the waist/tummy. I find these both comfortable and flattering, but I only wear them with a more fitted top or something that tucks in, otherwise I'd look like a tent. They're a modern cut with the high waist and wide legs, but really pull together an outfit. The tan is lovely but is more off-white. I get lots of compliments on the "ermine" ones.

These definitely don't run big. I am 5'0" size 8/10 and I got the petite medium in black and they're a perfect fit. The twill is durable yet comfortable and they're great for everything from work to school to casual evenings.

Comfortable, substantial cotton fabric but tan chino is a very pale off-white. Cannot use. Returning.

I now own 3 pairs in black, green and tan. Yes I love them. They are made of a sturdy cotton with just enough stretch to make them comfy. Elastic band is a plus. They are figure flattering I love the back pockets (always more flattering in my opinion). And after so many washes the color hasn't faded. I would say the only negative is that sizing is not super consistent. I bought 3 size M and the black ones are a tad big, army green fit perfect and the tan ones are a bit tight.

I typically wear a 10 or 12. Gap's L usually fits me well but these were enormous. I know these are supposed to be wide leg pants but the fit was unflattering and didn't look like what I expected from the photos. So much fabric that I could get two pants out of it. Just not for me. I wanted loose and comfy, not parachute. As a plus, GAP's returns are always great. The fabric was great and the color was nice. The tailoring of the piece I got was also great.

The idea of these pants is there, great material, baggy fit but got a flattering shape to them, very comfortable and versatile. However, the sizing is way off. I'm always a size 2/small in Gap pants, ordered these in a small and they fit like a L-XL on me - for reference I'm 124 lbs and 5'5 - these are huge around the waist, drop very low in the crutch and they're very long (until depicted on the photos). Will be giving an XS a try, hoping it doesn't change the baggy warehouse shape and look to them.

l like the easy wide leg fit, very lightweight, nice cotton, easy to pull on and go and look more pulled together than sweats or yoga pants. They are supposed to be roomy and loose fit. run true to size. I prefer to have either belt loops or drawstring, so I returned, but they are very nice and well made, some people would like, just not for my style. I bought the true drawstring pull on cotton high rise wide leg pant instead.

These pants are a bit big, but if you size down, they are the most comfy pants!! I'm 5'7" and 155 pounds and typically a size 8-10/M, but I sized down to a small and they hit me right at the ankle. The waistband is so stretchy but still holds its shape.
