I'm about to buy a second pair because these pants are that good! I bought them in a pinch for a summer Europe trip when my initial pair of linen trousers didn't work out. I was initially surprised by the weight of them just from holding them, but it didn't end up bothering me at all. They ended up ...being my favorite clothing item I had on the trip. They made my outfits so cute with very minimal effort, they are super comfortable and I felt totally breathable in them in the summer heat even with their weight. I am tall and thin and finding pants that that fit me well has been a struggle my whole life. These are literally perfect.
Automatic regret. Size 8 here. Happy enough with all pants I buy from gap. However the material on these is thin, and more like valour than velvet. The sheen is ugly and calls attention to a really bad fit. Overall, very cheap looking and neither stylish nor flattering. Zipper is defective and does... not secure higher up and therefore slips down exposing silver of zipper and not securing the closure. Bad product even at a sale price. Should have never passed Quality Control inspection.

These look great, but as others have noted, the waist is tight compared to other Gap styles. I recommend sizing up unless you have a disproportionately small waist for your size.

The breathable crepe is actually so comfy. I'm in between sizes (25.5 waist, 37 hip, almost 5'4 but not quite) and got a 2R. The pants fit really well, the pockets are a good size, and the length is great for trousers without being too long and baggy looking. These don't give the flat butt energy that usual trousers give, so these get an extra thumbs up for that alone!
